Halloween Parade

Our school does a Halloween parade. It's fun to dress up and see people's costumes. For instance, Lacie was a monkey. During the parade we went in a lot of classrooms to walk around and let everybody see our costumes. Then, we went in the gym so the whole school could see our costumes.
When we returned to our classroom, the 5th and 6th graders came to our classroom so we could see them. Then, a lot of parents took pictures of our whole class dressed in our Halloween costumes Finally, we ate the donut and drank the milk that PTO gave us. We also got lots of treats and other stuff for Halloween.
Going to the Dogs

We're having a visitor come to our classroom, and his name is Max. Max is a dog, and I just happen to be writing about this topic because Max is my dog! :-) Max is a certified dog and he has gone through many tests to become certified. He will start visiting our classroom on November 5th. It's through the "Teacher's Pet" program. Kids from my classroom are going to read to Max. Max is a smart Golden Retriever.
PS - Sometimes he has bad breath!
